Summary:
“Magic Thousand Characters” is adapted from the Korean educational comic of the same name. Since its publication at the end of 2003, 15 volumes of the comic have been released, with a sales volume of 8.5 million. It is based on the classic Chinese mythology “Journey to the West”, and 20 Chinese characters appear in each volume.
The demon king in the book shouted “Taste the taste of heat, the fire of fire” to attack, and the monk Tang silently recited “water of flowing water” to respond. This method naturally achieves the effect of learning Chinese characters, and is very popular among elementary school students in lower grades. Later, “Magic Thousand Characters” also launched online games, musicals and this big-screen movie version.
