Summary:
The story takes place in a Beijing hutong in the early 21st century. The image of the protagonist, Xiao Wukong, is inspired by the image of Sun Wukong in the traditional Chinese handicraft “noodle figurines”. He is brave and righteous. The villain “Mouse” is a dirty mouse who is cute and only wants to eat the food on the stalls. He also has his own persistence in the face of food. People say “a rat shit spoils the whole pot of porridge”, so Xiao Wukong took on the mission of protecting the stall for the reputation of health and hygiene, and at the same time fought with the mouse. At the beginning, Xiao Wukong had the halo of “Monkey King” in the opera. In the fight, he gradually realized his fragility. He was just made of flour and was fragile. However, he faced difficulties head-on, and he would fight to the end even if he was crushed to pieces. In a sense, his protection of the stall’s reputation also protected the stall’s future.
