Summary:

By order of Emperor Taizong, Master Sanzo and Goku head to the faraway Tenjiku to retrieve sutras. In a certain village, he tries to convert the youkai Hakkai and add Sagojyo, who lives in the river, with him, but Gojyo leaves. The party, who approached the flaming mountain, was surrounded by youkai due to a mysterious child’s ruse. Their true identities are generals of the heavens who were assassins sent by the emperor out of jealousy of the popular Sanzo. With Gojyo’s help, the group escaped danger and continued their journey to Tenjiku of their own accord.
