Summary:
The World Ship carrying the Buddhist missionary group and the Great Monk Daeheung who went to preach to aliens in space is captured by the King of the Universe. So the Heavenly Tripitaka asks the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara to free the Son Oh-gong who is trapped in the rocky mountain of the Five Elements Mountain. Son Oh-gong meets Pigsy and Sha Wujing as his companions, and together they set out into space to find the Great Monk Daeheung and his group and retrieve the Buddhist scriptures. When Son Oh-gong and his group make an emergency landing on the planet Orion, they are attacked and captured by the Gwangpung King and his group, but Son Oh-gong rescues Tripitaka, Pigsy, Sha Wujing, and the captured King of the Morning Star. Later, Son Oh-gong and his group arrive on Uranus and defeat the Gwangpung King. However, due to the Governor of Uranus, the Sun Wukong party becomes prisoners and Sun Wukong loses his powers. Sun Wukong dramatically regains his powers and defeats the Governor of Uranus, and eventually defeats the King of the Universe. Sun Wukong saves the Great Heung Monk and the King of the Morning Star and retrieves the Buddhist scriptures. Sun Wukong, who has regained his freedom, sets out on a new journey alone.
