Summary:
The film is adapted from the Fire Cloud Cave chapter, telling the story of Red Boy, a naughty boy with a pure heart, who was bewitched by Black Cloud Fairy to capture Tang Monk in order to prepare a reunion dinner for his parents. During the fight between Wukong and Red Boy, Black Cloud Fairy took the opportunity to benefit from it and awakened the ancient monster Taotie. Black Cloud Fairy manipulated Taotie to attack the Heavenly Palace and cut down Lingshan, disrupting the three realms. In the end, Wukong resolved the disaster with self-sacrifice, and also awakened the kindness in Red Boy’s heart.
