Summary:
A long time ago, monsters were rampant in the east. Tang Sanzang made a vow to heaven to go to Leiyin Temple in the west to obtain the true scriptures to purify the earth. Guanyin Bodhisattva arranged four disciples, Pilgram Sun, Zhu Bajie, Sha Wujing, and Bailongma to support Tang Sanzang on his journey to the West. This time, the group was trapped in the Flame Mountain and needed Princess Iron Fan’s banana fan to extinguish the fire in the Flame Mountain. However, a few years ago, Red Boy, the son of Princess Iron Fan and the Bull Demon King, tried to eat Tang Sanzang’s flesh in order to live forever. Fortunately, Guanyin Bodhisattva helped subdue Red Boy, which triggered a series of confrontations and battles between them many years later. In the end, Pilgram Sun alone was unable to defeat the Bull Demon King who had practiced for five hundred years and had powerful magic power, and he was about to become the victim of injustice.
The movie depicts the profound partnership between Sun Xingzhe, Tang Sanzang, Zhu Bajie, Sha Wujing and other companions, and conveys a positive belief: No matter how difficult the challenge is, as long as we work together and never give up, we will eventually achieve our goals.
