Summary:
The "Eight Immortals" chose to form a squad rather than simply seeking immortality or worldly success; they opted to "shake things up" instead of just chasing profits or a career! Led by Lü Dongbin and Zhongli Quan, the group—joined by He Xiangu, Tieguai Li, Han Xiangzi, Cao Guojiu, Lan Caihe, and Zhang Guolao—brings together eight mortals from vastly different backgrounds. Brought together by chance in the fairyland of Penglai, some joined on a whim while others jumped right in, setting up a Taoist temple to live out their "immortal" fantasies.
