Summary:
During the Eastern Han Dynasty, a severe drought struck, and it turned out that the drought was caused by a drought demon. The demon sent its minions, the Yakshas, to search for the Six-Eared Macaque in order to obtain the celestial compass that would allow it to be resurrected. The demon succeeded, becoming incredibly powerful. However, a wise sage revealed that only the combined power of the four monkeys could defeat the drought demon and seal it away again.
