Summary:
This game is a roguelike action game based on "Journey to the West," one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature. Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, Sha Wujing, and Xuanzang are all played by "Kunio," and other characters from the "Kunio-kun" series also appear as characters from Journey to the West.
Furthermore, to commemorate the series' 40th anniversary, the "Nekketsu Kōha Kunio-kun" portal site has been revamped into a 40th-anniversary site. This site will feature retrospectives of past series titles and other content.
