Summary:
The flower fairy Hua Caiyue (played by Chen Xinqi), who has practiced for hundreds of years, could not escape the catastrophe of 500 years. Fortunately, Little Stone Monkey (played by Wang Chuanyi) was rescued and fell in love with him. In order for Little Stone Monkey to see the color, she did not hesitate to expend hundreds of years of skill, but because of this, she was almost wiped out. In order to allow Caiyue to continue to live, Little Stone Monkey decides to go to Penglai Island to learn fairy arts. Later, Little Stone Monkey changed his name to Sun Wukong, and Caiyue waited wholeheartedly for Sun Wukong to come back from learning Taoism, thinking that she could live a happy life together from now on, but unexpectedly, she was captured by the heavenly soldiers and generals and returned to the heavenly court to use it as a medicinal material for alchemy. In order to save her, Sun Wukong made havoc in heaven, and was eventually trapped under Wuzhi Mountain.
Caiyue desperately wanted to break away from Wuzhi Mountain, but she passed out because of it. The infatuated Caiyue decided to wait for Sun Wukong, and he waited for 500 years. Unexpectedly, 500 years later, Sun Wukong was appointed by Tathagata Buddha to escort Tang Sanzang (played by Huang Junxiong) to the West to learn scriptures. On the way, Tang Sanzang and Sun Wukong also took Zhu Bajie (played by Fang Weijie) and Sha Wujing (played by Jiang Changhui) to the West to learn Buddhist scriptures. Nine-Tailed Fox (played by Guo Shuxian) learned that eating Tang Monk’s meat can lead to immortality. In order to fulfill her master’s last wish, she vowed to eat Tang Monk’s meat so that the fox clan could live forever.
Nine-Tailed Fox regards Sun Wukong as the enemy who killed her master and hated him deeply, so she uses Caiyue, who loves Sun Wukong so much, to deal with Tang monks, master and apprentices. Caiyue indirectly killed Tang Seng and his apprentices, causing Sun Wukong to die of hatred for her. Before he died, he swore never to forgive Caiyue. And the Nine-Tailed Fox ate the Tang monk’s meat and fulfilled her master’s last wish, then turned into the appearance of her mentor and lived forever. Later, Caiyue was given the opportunity by Goddess Guanyin, and she was given a thousand-year time limit to find the reincarnated Sun Wukong, and was forgiven. In order to atone for her sins, Caiyue went through thousands of years of heartache, looking for the reincarnated Sun Wukong, hoping to be forgiven by her beloved.

Summary:
Legend has it that a thousand years ago, there was a mighty war pitted against the dark forces in the celestial realm. Jiu Weihu had manipulated and lured Sun Wukong away, thus causing a major delay in the rescue of Tangseng, resulting in the monk’s tragic death. By the time Wukong got back to him, Tangseng and the other companions had already fallen into the venomous wiles of the vixen. This abruptly halted the end of the quest of the scriptures in the West. Wukong was (understandably) in rage and blinded by anger and hate. To make matters worse, Wukong had misunderstood that Caiyue had caused the death of his companions. Gouging out his eyes, Wukong swore never to see her again. A regretful Caiyue pleads with the Goddess of Mercy for leniency. Sensing her sincere repentance, the Goddess grants her a time frame of a thousand years, to allow Caiyue to search for the love of her life Wukong, in order to resolve the grievances, resentments and misunderstandings from the past.
