The whole fairy tale revolves around two rare treasures, the “Golden Hoop” and the manuscript of “Journey to the West”. There is a mysterious island in the middle of the distant sea - Maomao Island. Legend has it that it is the place where the Maomao tribe, descendants of Sun Wukong, live. The appearance of Li Dawang, a descendant of the Bull Demon King, broke the tranquility of Maomao Island. Li Dawang sent his subordinate Wuxing Dawang to capture the young members of the Maomao tribe, including Maomao Hou, as hostages to threaten the Maomao tribe to hand over the golden hoop staff. In order to rescue his companions and save the world, the brave Maomao Wang began his adventure, carrying a set of “72 costume cards” and “Baby Monkey” given by Mr. Mao, and officially embarked on the journey after meeting the young scientist Zhu Zhu and the powerful little girl Tao Tao. Legend has it that he is the descendant of Sun Wukong. The “Golden Cudgel” and the manuscript of “Journey to the West” unfold.

When the Jade Emperor learned that Sun Wukong had rebelled against the Heavenly Palace, he was furious and ordered Li Tianwang to send troops to suppress him. Sun Wukong defeated the giant spirit and Nezha the Third Prince, and the Heavenly Palace was forced to appoint him as the Great Sage Equaling Heaven to manage the Peach Garden. Unexpectedly, after becoming the Great Sage, his wild nature remained unchanged. Instead, he stole peaches and drank immortal wine. The Jade Emperor was furious and ordered Li Tianwang to lead 100,000 heavenly soldiers and 18 nets to capture the demon monkey. Sun Wukong defeated the Nine Evil Stars and the Four Heavenly Kings, and used his clone technique to defeat the 100,000 heavenly soldiers. Because of this battle, Sun Wukong became famous throughout the world.
