Summary:

The game tells a story set 500 years after the famous Journey to the West. In ancient times, a massive war erupted between the Divine Realm and the Demon Realm; it ultimately concluded when Yuanshi Tianzun used a primordial artifact of creation to seal away the Black Dragon King, the ruler of the Demon Realm. Over the ensuing millennia, the power of the seal gradually weakened, allowing the Black Dragon King to open his evil eyes once more and set his plan for vengeance in motion. Wukong joins the fray, and the game recreates nearly all the classic scenes from Journey to the West.
