The world is in turmoil due to the appearance of monsters, and the story begins with the protagonist setting out on a journey to save the world.
The characters are two-dimensional SD characters, and include Son Goku, Sha Wujing, descendants of Zhu Bajie, and disciples of Tripitaka Monk. Each character has their own unique characteristics; for example, Son Goku excels in close combat with swords and sticks, while Sha Wujing can attack from long distances with bows and arrows or hidden weapons. Each character also has their own unique skills called "secret techniques," which are not only powerful but also add a touch of excitement to the gameplay, with cut-ins and flashy attack motions.
'Journey to the West' is the next project from producer Jang Yeon-woo, who developed the martial arts side-scrolling MMORPG 'Ghost Online.' It's a highly anticipated title that analyzes and upgrades the successful know-how of 'Ghost Online,' applying groundbreaking systems and extensive content that were previously considered taboo in casual MMORPGs.
