Also known as: 西贡游记

Adaptation: Modern

Summary:

The film recounts the stories that happened after Monk Tang and his disciples successfully requested sutras and had a comfortable life in the upper world. However, a prank with a magic mirror by Hang Nga and Thai Thuong Lao Quan caused the trio of Wukong, Sanzang, and Bajie to descend to Saigon. With no magic power and having lost their master, the three must struggle to find a way to survive in a strange world. The ironic thing is that even the monsters, demons, and gods that were once destroyed have now been reincarnated and revived again, making the situation of Wukong, Bajie, and Sanzang even more dangerous. This truly became the “82nd misfortune” of this trio.
