Summary:
Dao Ji searches for the Bodhisattva all the way, but due to mispositioning, he discovers that the Bodhisattva has turned into a teenage Taoist nun Ci Hang. Dao Ji follows Ci Hang to protect her, and eventually enlightens Ci Hang to become a Bodhisattva. The Nine-tailed Fox faints in the desert while looking for a way for Zhong Kui to be reborn, and is rescued by Ao Ding Ding. Ao Ding Ding gathers the eight gods to resurrect Zhong Kui, and Zhong Kui and the Nine-tailed Fox finally express their feelings to each other. At the same time, Fahai and Zhang Tianshi are captured by a superstitious couple while searching for the giant snake, and are rescued by Dao Ji for offering sacrifices to the sky for rain. The Monster Catchers Alliance then gathers again to find the giant snake for the final battle.
