Summary:

“Where is the Way” is the first time that the 1986 version of “Journey to the West” has been adapted from the small screen to the big screen in more than 30 years. The series is divided into three parts, trying to construct a system of three realms of heaven, earth and man. At the end of life, one may go to hell or ascend to heaven. The gods are punished and fall into the human world. There is also breathing in hell, and the cause and effect cycle is endless. The three parts are based on this system, but each has its own style. We strive to tell a “Journey to the West” that can evoke the greatest resonance of every Chinese’s childhood memory. The second part is the betrayal chapter. The master and apprentice encounter the Bull Demon King, Princess Iron Fan, and Red Boy’s family in order to cross the Flame Mountain.
