Summary:

The Spider Spirit lost to Sun Wukong and the Eight Immortals and was injured. When she met the Dragon King of the East China Sea, she coveted her beauty, so she disguised herself as a folk girl and followed the Dragon King to the Dragon Palace to heal her injuries. The Spider Spirit stole the Dragon King’s treasure, and then met the Yellow-Browed Boy, and induced him to conspire to set up a fake Leiyin Temple to assassinate the four master and disciples of Tang Monk in an attempt to eat Tang meat and become immortal. Unexpectedly, Tang Monk was deceived and fell into the trap. After many twists and turns, Wukong finally escaped and asked for help from the heavenly soldiers and generals. However, due to the powerful magic weapon of the Yellow Eyebrow Boy, Wukong and others were still defeated. Later, Wukong met Maitreya Buddha, the master of the Yellow-Browed Boy, and Maitreya Buddha took action to subdue the bad disciples. The Spider Spirit was defeated and escaped from the Dragon Palace, seeking protection from the Dragon King. However, Wukong revealed her identity and was finally captured by the Dragon King in the Thousand-Year Clam. Wukong rescued his master and his younger brothers and continued to the west to learn the scriptures.
