Summary:
"The Monkey King vs. the Eight Immortals" is a Hong Kong fantasy film produced by Dalian Film Company in 1965. The film was directed by Chen Zhuosheng and starred by Yujia, Li Fengsheng, Li Xiangqin, You Guangzhao, Xiguapao, Xu Songhe, etc. It tells the story of Sun Wukong stealing peaches and being punished by the Queen Mother. Wukong fought against the Eight Immortals, and finally Wukong was subdued by the Tathagata Buddha, who pressed him under the Five Finger Mountain and told him that in the future a monk named Tang would accept him as a disciple and he must go to the West with Tang Monk to obtain Buddhist scriptures.
